Bladdered!! were formed in November of 1994 after a jam session which consisted of three members of short lived 'band' General Rumpus,Ali Bell(Vocals), Guy (Gabe) Gibson(Lead Guitar) and Scott Steel(Rythm Guitar),who were joined by Dougie Mackie(Bass) and Liam Wilson(Drums). The overall opinion and musical tastes indicated that the route to go was punk cover versions, and several were tried on this first get together: Should I Stay Or Should I Go (Clash) and Get Over You (Undertones) were two of the first. Bladdered!! were therefore 'formed' and supported Dave Vanian And The Phantom Chords on only their third gig. Liam decided to leave(with the bands best wishes) in February 1996 as he was first and foremost an accomplished guitarist who was playing drums.Several gigs were done with Ewen from Hanx!, before Fat Dave Paterson (ex Fat Dave And The Stenny Brass) joined in April 1996. Regular gigs were done during the 90's and onward both on their own and support slots including the mandatory Xmas Martell gig ,which still a yearly event.Support slots included The Damned,Hugh Cornwell,The Vibrators,UK Subs,Eddie And The Hot Rods, plus a mini tour with Captain Sensible and his Punk Floyd.Bladdered!! recorded their only CD to date 'Moochie Pogo' in 1999. Sadly in July 2001 Gabe died suddenly which was harshly felt by all the band. He was replaced by Gordon Rae (also ex Stenny Brass). The line up now is still the same. Bladdered!! continue to gig with an ever changing theme and costumes plus adding new songs to their repetoir.
